Do I need to pay any facilitation fees to Yuvaa Health?

No, we do not charge any fees from our patients who use our services. All payments need to be made directly to the hospital. Using our services, will not increase your hospital treatment cost

Can I take a vacation or recuperate at any tourist destination

Yes. Your physician will advise you when it is appropriate to take a vacation or recuperate at a tourist destination. India is fortunately blessed with many beautiful destinations ranging from the Himalayas to the pristine beaches to lush green tea-gardens. We would be happy to assist in making your post-surgical travel arrangements to your choice of location.

Will language be a barrier for me in India?

English is widely spoken throughout the country. Ans. Our affiliated hospitals’ surgeons and supportive staff are well versed in English. However if you don’t speak English, we will organize the service of a language translator, who will be with you from picking up at the airport and will help you to communicate effectively during the treatment process till dropping back to the airport, at no extra cost.

I do not want my case to be disclosed to anyone, is this possible?

We respect every individual’s privacy and we do not discuss or disclose anyone’s ailments with third parties or with those not involved in your case.

My medicines are over and not available in my country, what to do?

Don’t worry, Yuvaa Health will courier you the prescribed medicines on actual cost.

Where can I stay after discharge?

We will arrange accommodation/guest rooms/dormitories/all-type-star hotel accommodation depending upon your budget.

What documents are required to be carried when travelling to India?

You would be required to carry the following documents

Original passport

5 passport sized photographs of the patient and attendant

Previous medical reports

Will you arrange for pick up at the airport?

Yes our team will be present at the airport to receive you

Is there any vaccine I need to take prior to coming to India?

All foreigners must get inoculated against Yellow Fever at least 10 (ten) days prior to applying for the Visa and must produce genuine & valid Yellow Fever Vaccination Card both at the Visa Counter of the Embassy and at the Indian airport or check-post of entry.

Apart from Yellow Fever vaccination certificate as per Govt. of India mandate, all passengers arriving in India effective 14th February, 2014, from Kenya, Ethiopia, Afghanistan, Israel, Pakistan, Nigeria and Somalia, will have to carry Oral Polio Vaccination (OPV) Certificate taken six weeks prior to entry. This certificate is mandatory for both Adults and Children. All travellers from the above seven countries will be required to have a written record of vaccination (patient-retained record) for polio in their possession, preferably using IHR 2005 International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis from a hospital or centre administering OPV.

Do I need any visa to arrive to India?

Yes, you would need a medical visa since your purpose of travel to India is for medical reasons. Please send us scanned copies of the passports of the patient and his/her attendant so that we can issue the visa facilitation/invitation letter at the earliest, which will enable you to get a medical visa..

How do I share my medical reports?

Can I have a teleconference/ video conference with the doctor before my arrival to India?

Yes, our team will arrange for a tele/video call with the doctor on a time and date convenient to both of you.

How may I know the estimated cost for my surgery before hand?

Once you have provided your present condition including medical history and reports, the information will be reviewed and examined by the specialists of affiliated hospitals, accordingly will get back to you with total estimate of your treatment.

I have certain "special requirements", can that be arranged?

Following consultation with us, we will accommodate all special requirements where-ever possible. Please let us know of your requirements in advance, so that we can make appropriate arrangements for you.

Post my treatment, can I fly immediately?

It is generally advisable to stay back for 8-10 days post discharge, however the final call will be taken by the treating doctor. Post discharge, our team will make arrangements for stay in an hotel/ guest house suiting your budget

What about food, will the kind of food I prefer, be available to me?

Yes, we will do our best to prepare and serve you with a variety of choices of food as per your preference. However, all dietary prescriptions are subject to your doctor’s (dietician) advice and appropriate to your health status. Smoking and alcohol use are prohibited in the hospital premises.

What are the payment modes available to pay the hospital bills?

All hospitals accept major national and international credit and debit cards. Payments can be made via bank transfer as well. Details for bank transfer will be shared with you, if you wish to opt for this mode of payment
